David Schapiro, CEO

A visionary and seasoned executive in the field of business software solutions, Mr. Schapiro has over 20 years of marketing, technology and business experience in senior management positions. Prior to Earnix, Mr. Schapiro served as Executive Vice President of Markets and Products at ClickSoftware (NASDAQ: CKSW), where he was also a key factor in driving the company from its founding, through an IPO, to the position of leading provider of Service Optimization Solutions. Mr. Schapiro is well versed in growing software companies in dynamic markets. He has consulted for numerous venture capital funds and leading startup companies where he helped define the marketing, product, and overall business strategy. Prior to his position at ClickSoftware Mr. Schapiro held management and development positions at Applied Materials, Scitex, and Control Data Corporation. Mr. Schapiro holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel-Aviv University, and a Master’s in Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University.

Sammy Krikler, Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Krikler, a co-founder of Earnix, is responsible for product R&D and client professional services. Previously he worked as R&D manager of Eventus R&D, leading mathematicians, statisticians, economists and software engineers in the development of mathematical models for forecasting, derivatives pricing and risk management of financial markets. Mr. Krikler holds a bachelor’s degree in statistics from Hebrew University.

Haim Kopans, Venture Partner JVP & Partner and CTO, JVP Studio

Haim is one of the foremost experts in the field of database and business process technologies in the world today. Founder and former CTO of Precise Software Solutions, a JVP portfolio company and leading provider of business and e-commerce application performance management solutions, Haim assisted in growing Precise from its founding in 1990 through a successful IPO in 2000. In 2003, Precise was acquired by Veritas for $609 million. Before joining Precise, Haim was a consultant with SCP Systems, and a systems analyst for the Israeli Defense Forces. With over 25 years of high-tech experience, Haim’s reputation and in-depth knowledge of the sector helped to make Precise the industry leader that it is today. Haim holds a BA in Economics and Computer Science from Bar Ilan University, and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.

Shai Beilis, Managing Partner, Formula Ventures

Mr. Beilis has over 25 years of top executive experience in the IT sector. During this period he has served as Chairman or Director of the boards of more than sixty IT firms. He is a board member of several Formula Ventures’ portfolio companies. Mr. Beilis also serves as the Chairman of the Formula Ventures Ltd., the fund’s general partner and of Formula Vertex UK Ltd., which manages a technology portfolio for UBS in Europe. Prior to joining Formula Ventures, Mr. Beilis was CEO of Argotec Ltd., where he was responsible for initiating, overseeing and managing the investments of Formula Systems. He was the Chairman of Crystal Systems Solutions and Wiztec Solutions, both of which conducted successful public offerings on NASDAQ. Prior to his association with Argotec, Mr. Beilis held executive positions in several leading Israeli IT firms. As CEO of Clal Computers and Technology he was responsible for investments in such companies as Malam, Geo Interactive and Ornet. At Digitial Equipment Corporation, he established and managed DECsys, a unique software subsidiary. As CEO of Yael Software and Services Ltd., he led the growth of the company from a small 10 employee firm to 300 professionals, the second largest software house in Israel (in 1985). Mr. Beilis holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel and a B.Sc., cum laude, in Mathematics and Economics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel.

Amit Frenkel, General Partner, Vintage Investment Partners

Amit Frenkel is a general partner at Vintage Investment Partners, the only secondary fund manager and fund of funds manager focused on Israel with $460 million under management. Prior to joining Vintage Investment Partners in 2005, Amit acted as venture capitalist for 15 years and was a General Partner in Carmel Ventures, Israel Infinity, and Clalit Capital Fund LP. Amit was active in investing, building and promoting portfolio companies throughout their life cycle. His track record includes exits in the following companies: Alvarion, Nur Macroprinters, Paradigm Geophysical, Celletra, Radvision, NiceCom, Viryanet, ProActivity, Unipier, Netformx and others. Before becoming a venture capitalist, Amit was Vice President of Clal Issuing Ltd., the largest investment banking house in Israel, where he led numerous M&A and private placement transactions. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Red Bend, Trivnet, Earnix, Ophirtech and various Vintage entities.

Amit received an MBA from the University of Michigan with honors and a BA in Accounting and Economics from Tel Aviv University.

Brian Cohen

Mr. Cohen is an insurance veteran with a breadth of experience with insurance carriers as well as insurance technology providers. As a senior executive with Farmers insurance, Brian led several highly successful business units. As the company’s Chief Marketing Officer and head of Sales, he was instrumental in driving fundamental changes in the company’s sales process and took part in Farmers’ efforts to improve their claims operations. After Farmers, Mr. Cohen became President and CEO of Clear Technology, a global software provider to the insurance industry, acquired in 2008 by Versata Enterprises.

Graham Masters

Mr. Masters served as Head of Pricing for the Winterthur Insurance Group, now part of the AXA Group. In this capacity, Mr. Masters was responsible for formulating pricing policies, instituting best practices, and implementing innovative solutions throughout the group’s non-life subsidiaries worldwide. Prior to Winterthur, Mr. Masters was Head of Pricing for Schemes and Corporate Partnerships at Norwich Union. He joined Norwich Union’s following the acquisition of the London and Edinburgh Insurance Company, where he was responsible for all aspects of the Personal Lines business. Mr. Masters is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.

Kevin Sinclair

Mr Sinclair is the Group Underwriting Director of Coversure and within the group he is also Managing Director of Dotcover Insurance Services. Coversure is the only franchise broking organization in the UK with 90 branches across the country. Coversure writes nearly £100m in premium through its wide distribution network. Prior to joining Coversure, Mr. Sinclair was Managing Director of underwriting agency iPrism which offers brokers a comparative quote facility for commercial lines SME business. Previously, Mr. Sinclair has held various senior roles including Managing Director of AA Insurance, Great Britain’s largest independent home and car insurance broker, Marketing and Underwriting Director at AXA and Director of Underwriting at Guardian Direct.

Professor Ya’acov Ritov

Professor Ritov is an established expert in Mathematical Statistics, specializing in asymptotic theory, semi-parametric models; statistical analysis of stochastic processes; survival analysis; change detection, and signal processing. Over the past 20 years, Prof. Ritov has published over 70 papers and monographs in statistics. Prof. Ritov is a former associate editor of the Annals of Statistics and a former chairman of the Department of Statistics at the Hebrew University. He is a fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics, and co-Author of “Efficient and Adaptive Estimation for Semi Parametric Models” (Springer, New York).
