David Schapiro, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Schapiro has more than 20 years of marketing, technology and business experience in senior management positions. He has helped define the marketing, product, and overall business strategy for venture capital funds and leading startup companies. Prior to Earnix, Mr. Schapiro served as Executive Vice President of Markets and Products at ClickSoftware (NASDAQ: CKSW), where he was a key factor in driving the company from its founding, through its IPO and finally to leading provider of service optimization solutions. Earlier, Mr. Schapiro held management and development positions at Applied Materials, Scitex, and Control Data Corporation. Mr. Schapiro holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science from Tel Aviv University and a master’s in computer science from Bar Ilan University.

Sammy Krikler, Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Krikler, a co-founder of Earnix, is responsible for product R&D and client professional services. Previously he worked as R&D manager of Eventus R&D, leading mathematicians, statisticians, economists and software engineers in the development of mathematical models for forecasting, derivatives pricing and risk management of financial markets. Mr. Krikler holds a bachelor’s degree in statistics from Hebrew University.

Meryl Golden, General Manager, North America Operations

Ms. Golden heads Earnix’ business and operations in North America. With more than 25 years of management experience at leading U.S. property & casualty insurers, she brings a wealth of operational insurance expertise to the Earnix team. At Liberty Mutual, Ms. Golden served as Senior Vice President & General Manager with full P&L responsibility for the largest region in the personal insurance business with over $1B in direct written premiums. At Progressive, she served as Northeast General Manager, where she had P&L responsibility for a $1.5B region spanning nine states and over 6,000 independent producers. Earlier in her career at Progressive, Ms. Golden served in various general, product, and relationship management roles. She is a Certified Public Accountant with a bachelor of science in accounting from the Wharton Business School of The University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Reuven Shnaps, PhD, Vice President of Professional Services

Dr. Shnaps is responsible for the management and delivery of advanced analytics and consulting projects performed by Earnix for our customers around the world. Dr. Shnaps has spent more than 15 years developing and analyzing advanced statistical and economic models. He has extensive experience in managing and implementing price optimization projects in leading insurance companies and banks in both Europe and North America. Prior to joining Earnix, Dr. Shnaps worked in the economic and statistical consulting group at Deloitte & Touche in the United States, serving corporate clients across multiple industries. He holds a PhD and a master of arts in economics from The University of Pennsylvania and a master of arts in business economics and a bachelor of arts in economics and statistics from Bar Ilan University.

Barak Melnik, Vice President of Products and Business Development

Mr. Melnik is responsible for Earnix’s solution road-map and business development strategy. He joined Earnix from the London office of McKinsey & Co. During his five years at McKinsey, Mr. Melnik served leading financial institutions in Europe and the United States on a broad array of strategic and operational concerns. He consulted for insurance companies in areas related to pricing and underwriting as well as channel management and marketing. Prior to joining McKinsey, Mr. Melnik implemented enterprise software at Comverse Technologies Ltd and Elscint Ltd (medical devices). He holds an MBA degree from the Wharton Business School of The University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor of science in industrial engineering from the Technological Institute of Israel (Technion).

Aviv Cohen, Vice President of Marketing

Mr. Cohen is responsible for Earnix’s marketing programs and strategy. He brings to Earnix more than a decade of experience in enterprise software, with proven success in defining products, leading product lifecycles and developing new markets. Mr. Cohen joined Earnix from Mellanox (NASDAQ: MLNX) and Voltaire, where he served as head of product management and director of product marketing with a focus on software. He also held multiple marketing positions at Amdocs (NASDAQ: DOX) and N-trig, including roles in alliances, product marketing and product management. Mr. Cohen holds an MBA from Bar Ilan University and a bachelor of science in electronics and computer science and from Tel Aviv University.

Amitai Ratzon, Vice President of Sales

Mr. Ratzon is responsible for Earnix’ global direct and indirect sales. He joined Earnix from SuperDerivatives Inc, where he served as sales director for Northern Europe. Mr. Ratzon led the sales of derivatives pricing, analytics and risk management solutions to banking, insurance, asset management and corporate clients. Mr. Ratzon holds an LLB and a bachelor of arts in business administration from IDC, Herzliya and an Executive MBA from Kellogg- Recanati.

Einat Paz, Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Paz is responsible for all aspects of finance and strategic financial planning for Earnix. Most recently, she served as chief financial officer of ADC Israel (a subsidiary of ADC, Inc.). Previous positions include VP Finance at Portalis and finance-related positions at Scidel Technologies (a Scitex company), Scitex, and Oscar Gruss Ltd. In these positions, Ms. Paz built corporate financial and operational infrastructure, participated in strategic corporate decision-making, and managed relations with shareholders and venture capitalists. She holds an MBA in international finance and a bachelor of arts in management and economics (cum laude) from Tel Aviv University.

Jacob Eckel, Vice President of R&D

Mr. Eckel is responsible for Earnix’s software development. He has 15 years of combined experience in designing and implementing software applications, specializing in object-oriented system engineering. Mr. Eckel was co-founder and Vice President of Technology at DealFusion, a collaborative enterprise software provider. He was R&D manager of ApNet Ltd and held a group manager position at Emultek. Previously, he worked as a software development consultant for leading Israeli hi-tech companies such as Rafael, B.O.S, KLA and Elscint. Mr. Eckel holds a master of science in software engineering, a bachelor of science in computer engineering and an MBA, all from the Technological Institute of Israel (Technion), where he also lectured on object-oriented programming.
