Frank Bria, Research Director, Retail Banking & Cards, TowerGroup

Frank Bria is a Research Director in TowerGroup’s Retail Banking & Cards practice specializing in research and advice on banking analytics and consumer lending. The topics he covers include marketing, risk, and operational analytics as well as business processes associated with consumer lending, risk management, and pricing. Frank has 15 years’ experience in the financial services sector involving data analysis, loss forecasting, marketing analytics, and technology process design supporting retail banking. Prior to joining TowerGroup, Frank was the founder of Cambio Technologies, providing software and analytics consulting to the financial services industry. In previous positions, he designed software offerings in price optimization and loss mitigation analytics at Response Analytics and Khimetrics/SAP and provided technology and analytic support to a number of operational processes at Capital One. He started his career as a pension consultant with Chicago Consulting Actuaries. Frank has been a featured speaker and contributor at a number of industry conferences, including the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Mortgage Servicing Conference and financial services pricing events throughout the United States and Asia. He has been quoted in the media on pricing and loss mitigation. Frank holds a Master of Science in mathematics from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from Brigham Young University. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.

Reuven Shnaps, Ph.D., VP Professional Services, Earnix

Dr. Shnaps is responsible for the management and delivery of advanced analytics and consulting projects performed by Earnix for our customers around the world. Dr. Shnaps has spent more than 15 years developing and analyzing advanced statistical and economic models. He has extensive experience in managing and implementing price optimization projects in leading insurance companies and banks in both Europe and North America. Prior to joining Earnix, Dr. Shnaps worked in the economic and statistical consulting group at Deloitte & Touche in the United States, serving corporate clients across multiple industries. He holds a PhD and a master of arts in economics from The University of Pennsylvania and a master of arts in business economics and a bachelor of arts in economics and statistics from Bar Ilan University.
