Niti Badarinath heads up Mobile Banking and Digital Money Movement at US Bank. He’s been with the Bank for a little over 4 years.
Prior to this he was at Citigroup, where he as EVP, Global Direct Bank, he played a key role in defining and ‘selling’ a new digital banking strategy to different countries that were part of Citi’s global footprint.
As the head of Mobile & Digital MM, he has led a small band of highly motivated folks in driving USB to a leadership position in Mobile – focusing on driving mobile adoption & use, delivering innovation that looks at white-space &unmet customer needs, and alignment with US Bank’s core product/channel strategies.
And he successfully introduced many industry-leading innovations in Mobile – including photo deposits, photo bill pay, photo card balance Xfer, mobile WesternUnion and instant, and real-time p2p payments.
For all this, he has been recognized as American Banker’s 2014 Digital Banker of the Year. And ranked #1 in the Bank Innovation’s Top 30 Innovators in 2014.
International CEO, Groupama
Dominique Uzel is currently the International CEO at Groupama SA. With 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, Mr. Uzel has also served in multiple senior management positions at Groupama SA including Chief Operating Officer, International Direct Insurance Director, and Assistant General Manager of the Spanish Operations. His responsibilities have involved coordinating the operations of the International and French businesses of Groupama SA subsidiaries, as well as setting up Direct Insurance BU in several countries. Mr. Uzel holds an MBA from ESSEC Business School and a M.Sc. in Agronomy and Crop Science.
Liabilities Director, Raiffeisen Bank International
As Liabilities Director at Raiffeisen Bank International, Mr. Malach is responsible for the management of over 12 million retail mass customers in 15 countries as well as a liabilities portfolio of over 10 billion EUR in volume. Prior to his current role, Mr. Malach was active in managing the credit card business in both Raiffeisen and Citibank.
In Citibank, Mr. Malach served in multiple management positions involving risk, controlling & sales. Prior to Citibank, Mr. Malach worked for Societe Generale.
He holds a PhD in Customer Relationship Management at the University of Economics, Prague.
Head Pricing, Profitability & Underwriting, African Bank
Eugene Ehlers is currently the Head of Credit Underwriting and Pricing for the African Bank loan portfolio. African Bank is an unsecured credit provider in South Africa, sitting with a 23% market share of the unsecured credit market.
Prior to joining African Bank in 2008, he was the Head of Pricing and Product for ABSA Micro Lending. ABSA is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Barclays Africa group and of the biggest banks in South Africa. He joined ABSA Corporate and Merchant Bank in June 2001, as a Credit analyst after completing his articles with KPMG. After focusing initially on Investment Banking he switched over to the Retail side in 2004. Given his Investment Banking background and analytical ability he took up a role in a business unit that specialised in providing financial services to the previously xcluded population in South Africa and became part of the team that successfully established the Micro Lending business unit in ABSA.
Shortly after becoming the Head of Pricing in African Bank, he started with a project to test the viability of pricing optimisation in their target market. Given the uniqueness of this market this project has led to the expansion of elasticity analysis to more than just pricing.

Stéphane Guinet is Chief Executive Officer of AXA Global Direct since 2009, when the AXA Group created this platform to bring together the existing direct businesses across the world in order to build a global business line. He has been appointed to the AXA Group’s Executive Committee as of January 1st, 2014.
He was previously Chief Operating Officer of the Mediterranean and Latin America region of AXA since 2006. Before joining AXA, Stephane was an entrepreneur who co-founded and led 2 ventures: Assurland.com and Prima Solutions.

Commercial Director, Towergate – Designate CEO Flood Re
Brendan is Commercial Director for a substantial UK personal lines Intermediary – Paymenthshield – that sells it’s core Household proposition through several thousand Mortgage Advisors. He is currently leading a project to implement Pricing Optimisation across Paymentshield and the parent company Towergate Group, the largest combined specialist MGA and SME Broker in the UK.
Brendan is a Chartered Management Accountant, and prior to Paymentshield was President of Willis UK and Ireland where he had P&L responsibility for several substantial broking business units including Willis Networks and Commercial & Corporate Broking Regions. He also created an MGA.
Prior to joining Willis, Brendan was Finance Director for RSA UK Commercial Division and Head of UK Financial Control. Prior to RSA, Brendan spent several years in Management Consulting with PwC and Ernst & Young. He had also worked for Aviva in a sales leadership role in the Corporate Partnerships Division.
Artem A. Andreev
Head of Personal Loan Development Department, OTKRITIE Bank (JSC)
Mr. Artem Andreev has over 10 years of experience in the Russian Banking world. Today, as Head of Personal Loan Development Department at Otkritie Bank (JSC), Russia’s largest independent financial group by assets,he is responsible for the Personal Loans Profit & Loss, the Personal Loans process optimization and cross-selling.
Prior to joining OTKRITIE Bank, Artem was Head of the Personal Loan Development Department at VTB 24, a large Russian Bank, where he was in charge of creating of Personal Loans reporting, the refinance product re-launch and the Personal Loans application optimization.
Before that, Artem worked for Raiffeisenbank, where he held the positions of Head of Personal Loan Development Department and Head of the Credit Cards Management Department.
Artem has a degree from the Moscow State Technical University, and from the Russian Government’s affiliated Academy of Finance, Faculty in Financial management, specializing in Finance and Credit.

Pavinder Monga heads Business Analytics in Axis Bank, focused on Retail Lending & Payments and Marketing analytics. Before GE, he worked at Dun & Bradstreet and at JPMorgan Chase for 4 years in analytics and strategy roles. Bjørn Sandqvist has 20 years of experience in the Nordic insurance business with focus on profitability, technical pricing and underwriting, data and statistical analytics, customer segmentation, loss reserving, cost controlling and profitability controlling.
Bjørn is currently responsible for the actuarial pricing for all products in Tryg, the second largest non-life insurer in the Nordic area with presence in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
Appointed Actuary & Manager, Anadolu Sigorta, Turkey
Taylan Matkap started his career at Anadolu Sigorta in 2008 as appointed actuary/ manager position at the Actuarial Consultancy Unit. In 2011 Taylan was appointed Actuary & Manager at the Actuarial Department.
Taylan also serves as the Secretary General of the Actuarial Society of Turkey, the Society’s representative on the International Actuarial Association, and is a member at the Ruin Theory and Dividends working party of the IFoA (Institute and Faculty of Actuaries).
Taylan graduated from Ankara University, Department of Statistics and completed his master’s degree in the Department of Actuarial Science and Finance at Boston University. Taylan is currently pursuing his doctorate studies at İstanbul University, Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations.
Former Global Head of Pricing, Top Tier Corporate and Business Bank, UK
Ms. Farkas has significant expertise across Investment, Corporate and Retail Banking building high performing teams in distribution, product and pricing, strategy and change management. Prior to her current role as Head of Strategic Change Management, Europe and Middle East Retail and Business Banking, she held senior leadership positions at the institution as COO of Wholesale Treasury & Non-Core Portfolios, as well as its Head of Global Pricing.
Ms. Farkas holds an MBA from the London Business School and a BA/MA from Brandeis University
Einar Thor Einarsson
Head of Deposits, Arion Bank
Einar Thor Einarsson is responsible for managing the bank’s deposits and it involved in financing the bank at a domestic level. He is also accountable for policy formulation and the development of new deposit products at the bank, and communications with key stakeholders, such as larger companies and pension funds.
Einar Thor is responsible for implementing a number of accounts used by Arion bank customers. In 2012 Einar Thor issued the first 30 day notice account targeted to retail clients, it immediately gained huge success among retail customers that where seeking higher interest rates and were prepared to wait for 30 days after they withdrew. This method is getting more attention due to the new Basel III framework where banks need to hold sufficient high-quality liquid assets to cover its total net cash outflows over 30 days.
His background is in asset management, capital markets, funds, FX, commercial banking, treasury and other areas of banking. Presently he is working on his MBA degree at Reykjavik University and holds a B.A. from Eckerd College in Florida.
Ellie Barlow, Head of National Brokers at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd.
Mrs. Barlow is a financial services and general insurance professional, with extensive experience of digital insurance distribution, specifically relating to price comparison websites. Before joining Zurich, Ellie was Head of General Insurance and Head of General Insurance at MoneySupermarket.com, responsible for all key insurance verticals including Motor, Home, Life Travel and Pet. Ellie was also responsible for Moneysupermarket.com’s pricing strategy across all GI products.
Prior to this role, Ellie held the role of Head of Core Insurance at Comparethemarket.com and was one of the initial employees.
Ellie has recently completed an MBA, completing a dissertation into determinants of online consumer purchase behavior in motor insurance.
