Earnix is looking for an analytics consultant to help with our insurance and banking team in North America. The job involves two major roles; the primary role is project delivery and secondarily but important is pre-sales support.

Project delivery: develop complex analytics solutions

  • Lead/support cutting edge analytics projects using Earnix software, including analytics puzzles from data analysis, loss and demand modeling, optimization, to implementation
  • Train customers on the use of Earnix software

Pre-sales Support: present Earnix solutions to prospects

  • Support sales meetings with presentations, software demos, and industry insights related to all aspects of analytics and pricing strategy
  • Contribute to presentation development, SoWs, and RFPs

Requirements

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 4-7+ years of experience focused on actuarial, statistical, or economic consulting/analytics including data preparation, analysis, and statistical modeling
  • Industry knowledge of competitive dynamics including pricing, regulation, IT systems, data, macro/micro economic drivers, strategy etc. and
  • Insurance: property casualty product exposure focused on pricing and rating structure design
  • Banking: retail consumer bank pricing with specific knowledge of both deposit and lending products
  • Good programming skills and working knowledge of SAS and/or other statistical software packages (i.e. Python, R, SQL, etc.)
  • Machine learning skills are a plus
  • Track record of accomplishments: (1) academic honors in stats/OR/math/econ from leading universities and (2) on-the-job successes
  • High level of verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
  • Project management skills and the ability to work independently
  • Willingness to travel extensively both in North America and globally
  • Authorization to work in the US

Location: Work from home, occasional internal and regular client travel; Eastern/Central time and close to a major airport
