Earnix announces E^xcelerate Boston, its inaugural North American insurance innovation conference, bringing together leading insurers, partners, and technology experts to explore how AI can move beyond experimentation and drive operational transformation across pricing, underwriting, and decisioning.

Earnix has released its fourth annual Insurance Trends Report, The Race to Reinvent. For the first time, AI integration in insurance is near-universal, with 81% of executives reporting that it is embedded across most or some of their workflows. Yet the same data reveals much of this progress is still happening through targeted, function-specific improvements rather than fully connected, enterprise-wide decisioning.

Definity, one of Canada’s largest P&C insurers, has selected Earnix Price-It to modernize pricing across personal auto, property, and individually rated commercial auto portfolios. The AI-driven platform will help Definity accelerate pricing decisions, improve responsiveness, and maintain strong governance, transparency, and regulatory confidence.

Erez Barak, chief technology officer at insurtech Earnix, has told Insurance Post artificial intelligence agents could join the insurance workforce in the next “12 to 36 months.” Speaking to Insurance Post at the Earnix Accelerate conference in London, Barak emphasised the firm’s approach towards developing AI centres on collaboration between humans and AI agents.
